Check out our exhibit photos from the 2012 Sweets and Snacks Expo. The Sweet and Snack Show took place in Chicago from May 5th-8th. Along with the National Restaurant Show, over 60,000 restaurant-industry professionals came from all over the United States and more than 100 countries. Attendees at the Sweets and Snacks Expo represent $150 billion of worldwide buying power in the confectionery, snack and cookie categories.

Chicago's McCormick Place - Video

McCormick Place recently posted a new promotional video to its YouTube Channel. It’s an interesting video that shows spectacular aerial shots of the convention center, Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan. McCormick Place is located only 7 miles from Dimension Craft Inc. and is the host of major trade shows like IMTS 2012, Pack Expo International 2012, NRA, and Housewares.

Harry Potter Jelly Belly Art

When you plan your next trade show, consider adding something in your exhibit that will get show attendees talking, taking photos, blogging and posting it to their FaceBook accounts. I call this the Trade Show WOW factor. By exhibiting something out of the ordinary that is tied into your product or service, you can draw a lot of attention and thanks to smart phones get plenty of free PR.

While attending the Sweets and Snacks Show, this Harry Potter portrait made from Jelly Bellies caught my eye. The portrait was easily visible to attendees and the Jelly Belly logo was strategically positioned behind the portrait so it showed up in photos. This is a great example of the Trade Show WOW Factor.

Pack Expo International 2012 Video

If you’re a Pack Expo International 2012 exhibitor and looking for a custom or rental trade show exhibit, be sure to watch this video. Pack Expo is the packaging and processing industry’s largest event. The show is held at Chicago’s McCormick Place Lakeside, North and South Halls and runs from October 28th – 31st.
